The Vision Mono controller, the first generation of electronic controller installed on the AP Diving Inspiration rebreather, marked the beginnings of electronic control in closed-circuit diving (CCR). As the central element for managing PPO₂ and essential parameters, it must remain perfectly protected during demanding dives.

AMX protection has been specifically developed to reinforce the mechanical resistance of the Vision Mono against shocks, scratches, and stresses encountered in technical exploration, while maintaining ergonomics and screen readability.

In technical rebreather diving, the controller is exposed to demanding environments: wrecks, caves, rocky areas, and repeated handling during gear-up and gear-down phases. The aluminum protection acts as a peripheral barrier effectively absorbing impacts.
